Pokemon X and Y was just announced for the Nintendo 3DS. I’m not sure how I feel about the series entering the third dimension.

Nintendo’s new portable console for home use…
Square Enix’s Heroes of Ruin is an Action RPG coming to the 3DS. I really enjoyed sampling the campaign mode at E3 and am looking forward to the online play. The game does a great job of shrinking a dungeon crawler down to a smaller size. I’m definitely going to be picking this game up when it launches on July 17th.
It seems like Princess Peach can never get a break. The next New Super Mario Bros. will be launching on August 19th on the 3DS. I loved the original, and it looks like the sequel will deliver more of the fun.
Project P-100 was my favorite Wii U game at E3. It is a nice blend between Viewtiful Joe and Pikimin. It is a frenetic brawler game where you help save civilians with a team of super heroes and fight zany mecha monsters. The character artwork and game design is refreshing and fun, and reminds me of a Saturday morning cartoon.

Here are some nice high-resolution shots of the Wii U hardware. Playing it was definitely my highlight of E3.
Not only is this commercial horrifically bad and awkward, but it seems very “un-Nintendo” of them to release a chat-roulette feature for a family-friendly console.
