Here is the latest trailer for “The LEGO Movie”. While I’m worried that the plot seems to mash all of the themes together, I’m hopeful that the right story and blend of humor might let this movie not become a jumbled mess. We’ll get to find out when the movie is released in February, 2014.

I was a big fan of LEGO Universe, and was pretty devastated when they canceled that game. This new MMO outing looks like a lot of fun, and the focus on the minifigures is a logical move to bridge online and offline given the success of games like Skylanders and Disney Infinity. I hope that Funcom creates a worthy successor in LEGO Minifigures Online.

This is a great Nanoblock toy digital camera. If you can speak Japanese, you can get more info here. I don’t know if this will be coming out in the US, but I certainly hope so.

Build with Chrome is a great collaboration between Lego and Google to encourage builders in Australia and New Zealand to use a new web-based digital designer to share creations. Hopefully it is a sign that they’re going to bring Lego Digital Designer to the web.

The new LEGO CUUSOO Minecraft set is now shipping and the Hayabusa will be available soon. You can get more info here.

Lego City: Undercover wasn’t playable at E3, but they were showing off the trailer. This new Lego game seems to evolve the standard Travellers’ Tales game formula by offering an open-world experience.

I love both of these things independently, so they will only be better together. However, I’m not sure how I feel about Travellers’ Tales using actual voices now in the Lego games. Hopefully I can give this a play at E3 next week.
