Pokemon X and Y was just announced for the Nintendo 3DS. I’m not sure how I feel about the series entering the third dimension.
This new Professor Layton trailer for 3DS was my highlight of last night’s Nintendo Direct event.
Nintendo’s new portable console for home use…
It has taken Nintendo far too long to start doing digital distribution. Not having to carry around cartridges is the reason I had a flash cart and one of the many reasons I play more games on my iPhone. Now if only Nintendo could figure out cloud saves for Virtual Console games between my 3DS and Wii they’d really have me excited.
Square Enix’s Heroes of Ruin is an Action RPG coming to the 3DS. I really enjoyed sampling the campaign mode at E3 and am looking forward to the online play. The game does a great job of shrinking a dungeon crawler down to a smaller size. I’m definitely going to be picking this game up when it launches on July 17th.
It seems like Princess Peach can never get a break. The next New Super Mario Bros. will be launching on August 19th on the 3DS. I loved the original, and it looks like the sequel will deliver more of the fun.
