I made the trek back to New Haven to catch up with old friends and enjoy the grand tradition that is the Harvard Yale Football game. Unfortunately, we lost this year, but I didn’t even ever make it inside the stadium and out of the tailgates. Then again, “The Game” has never been about the game…
Two weeks ago, a friend from college got married in Louisville, Kentucky. It was a fantastic time as we got a chance to explore the history of the town, catch up with friends, and celebrate the occasion. Plus, we made it to the race track! Here are the pictures from the festivities.
Last night I was spending some quality viewing time with my “Miami Vice” dvd’s (the tv show, not the movie) and came across this gem of dialogue:
Tubbs: what was Gifford doing to get himself killed?
Crockett: he was a snitch and a thief…and he went to Yale.
So a bit of advice, my ivory tower friends: don’t let word of your degree get into the wrong hands the next time you find yourself mixed up in an 80’s speedboat drug ring.
