This latest trailer for the Nintendo 3DS title Super Mario 3D Land unveils the newest power for our favorite plumber: "Boomerang Mario". The footage has me even more excited to dive into this future classic when it arrives on November 13th.

Every year in LA there is the always-amazing "iam8bit" art show in LA, which just recently happened. For this year's "SUPER iam8bit" they had these custom Goomba Roomba's wandering around. They also constructed robotic version of some other Super Mario Bros. classic characters.

Nintendo runs a pretty cool rewards program for people who love to buy Nintendo products called "Club Nintendo". When you purchase certain games or hardware, you're given a unique code you redeem online to earn points, and you can also receive additional points for filling out surveys. You can then spend these points on exclusive Nintendo merchandise.
Each year, Nintendo rewards the most financially-supportive fans who reach the "Platinum" level with a special prize. This year's will be the awesome figurine pictured below. I'm certainly excited to receive mine, although I'm a little embarrassed to have spent so much on Nintendo products over the past year.

Enjoy this fantastic 8-bit crossover where you can take some iconic NES-era character like Mega Man, Link, Samus, and more through the levels of the original Super Mario Brothers. The creator has done a fantastic job of incorporating the touches from each character's game such as the controls and music. This is definitely a perfect nostalgic blend of classic gaming. You can play the game in all of its retro glory after the jump.
