My old college roommate, Ted, tied the knot this weekend to his most amazing lady, Andrea. They had wonderful ceremony with plenty of geek references (it was described as a “Magical Gathering”) held by the beach in Malibu. It was a blast getting to celebrate such a special occasion with so many friends, and here are some pictures from the day.

I continued my tradition of spending the holidays back east remembering what the cold feels like.  It was great to spend time with family and friends, and to ring in the new year on the right coast.

Two weeks ago, a friend from college got married in Louisville, Kentucky.  It was a fantastic time as we got a chance to explore the history of the town, catch up with friends, and celebrate the occasion.  Plus, we made it to the race track!  Here are the pictures from the festivities.

I recently ventured out into the ocean on a Carnival Cruise, and it certainly was quite the trip.  We had our fair share of zany cruise-goers and apparently we booked on the same weekend as every lame bachelor party.  We also witnessed some silly shows, and I still don’t believe anyone actually was under the influence of anything other than booze during the R-Rated hypnotist.  We also ran into some delightful fellas who wanted to join our “Apples to Apples” game and was curious about the continent “Interactica”.  But overall between the dancing waiters, good fortunes on the blackjack table, pleasant dinner guests, and our fun group, it was an amazing four days away.
